For those of you in Melbourne's west I have come across a very good value car DIY wash. It is $4 for unlimited time (actually there's a 40 minutes Cutoff). You can use your own sponge or use the cars washes sponges if you don't want to use those evil brushes. The only thing they don't seem to allow you to do is bring your own bucket of water.
They are located in Yarraville at 314 Somerville Road. The setup is nothing flash but it does the job and the price is right. My only complaint is that the wash bays are just a little cramped. I took my Territory there this morning and gave it a real good wash and took a liesurely 30 minutes. The only time I have washed my car better was when water storages were a lot higher than they are now. :1syellow1

I went to this place on the weekend, was pretty good. 3 or 4 bays and lots of people waiting and they all sit in their car parked by the side and stare at you, making you work faster. Thanks for the heads up!
