Default Convert from factory satnav to VDO?

Hi Fadi,

I have a BF Mk II XR6 Turbo with premium audio and the factory sat nav. I'm curious as to if I asked you for the VDO Dayton sysem to be fitted whether the price would be more/less expensive considering you need to remove the existing unit (but could potentially sell it).

Also, would you mount the VDO unit in the same place (parcel shelf) or just under a seat?

Hey since the new FG Falcon appears to also use the VDO Dayton do you think you will still be price competitive or will the FG be a market you can't reach because of this?

ASL will be launching a new sat nav where the price will be very competitive. again all intergraded with factory screen on the ba bf and the new FG, of course for the territory as well. not too long now.

cheers

Sweet, good to know! A factory FG Falcon with colour screen and a better sat nav piped through that display sounds like something I'd go for. If only I knew about ASL before I bought my BF Mk II. Ah well, the lease is up in just over 2 years; if we're not all riding bicycles due to a $2.50 per litre price of fuel then I look forward to my replacement Falcon.
