Default At the risk of sounding like a Volvo owner..

Just got the latest Choice magazine, June 2008. They did a test of popular cars and their safety ratings. Obviously Mercedes and so on aren't on the list - but 95% of the cars you'd probably crash into during the course of your driving day are, and the Mondeo tops the list (though its listed as a large car.. ) at 95% occupant protection. The next safest thing to be in is apparently a Landrover Freelander, Toyota Corolla(!), Subaru Impreza or Citroen C4. So maybe don't crash into any of those cos you'd probably cancel each other out...
