Does anyone know the opening hours and ticket price to the Ford Discovery Centre in Geelong?

Thanks so much, Adam.
I'm leaving in half an hour.

Since the thread is started why don't people post about their experiences at Ford Discovery Centre?

Cool just got back...

And I must admit I was a little disappointed.
I was expecting it to be much bigger with much more cars on display (including the FG)....

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but driving for 2 hours (one way) to spend there ~1 hour, wasn't really worth it.

It's what you make of it.
I went to visit friends in Melbourne in 2006, and caught the train out to Geelong to go and see the Discovery Centre.
I spent the whole day there and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I suppose it depends on how much of a Ford nut you are, as some friends went last year, and only spent a few hours.
I was disappointed mot to meet Felicity,as she was busy with meetings the day I was there.
The only other thing that I really wanted to do was a factory tour, and if given the chance I would go back tomorrow for a look!

Cool

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed myself over there.
I loved the cars, the interactive stuff and all the interesting info I found there, I also plundered the souvenir store. Took heaps of pictures and showed off my (very limited) technical knowledge to my wife.
The best thing I found there was a "cross section" of a F6. Perfect way of seeing all the components, and tracing the air though the intercooler and turbo.

But I think I was expecting a little bit more. That's all

Good to see I'm not the only one that wanted to grab one of those seats from the cinema and leg it. :P
