Hey Guys, I know this has been discussed about before but i cant find anything in detail.
I am in the process of installing power windows to the rear of my car so i can have all power windows. I currently have: Door trims, switches, Window regs (motors), 4 door looms and H loom out of a Fairmont Ghia. The main Question is do i need to replace the H loom or will i be able to plug the door looms into the one i currently one. While i am installing them i am hoping to wire up the door lights aswell. Any information is helpfull. Cheers Warwick |

hey guys a bit of a thread mine hear but im just wondering about the H Loom... im guessing its the loom that runs from the BEM? through the cabin to all the doors wiring looms which would go from the cabin through the door to the switch and p/w motor?
the reason im asking this is i have a AU3 Forte and i have/am installing BA XR doors trims and i need to do a rear power window conversion... With the plan of slowly changing the interior to a BA... just need to confirm i need to get the BA H loom and would be able to get the power windows to work using the BA H loom.. Cheers Cam

you could probably integrate the two looms together, i did a 4 power window conversion on an au forte and made up all the wiring myself...all you would have to do is work out all the pinouts and match the windows and switches wiring up...

you need the whole body or "H" loom and the BEM too if you don't change the BEM none of the windows will work at all
