Intake, exhaust, tune. Thats about all you can do, I still dont understand why there cant be cams for them, I had this discussion with Blackers. All youd need is a cam that is best when the VCT or whatever it does, say 6 degrees. Find a cam that is really awesome retarded at 6 degrees, put it in, it will be crap below 3100 or whatever it is that the VCT kicks in at, but youll have a stall to compensate. Maybe I think about irrelevant stuff to much.

pretty much what The Monty said. Intake & exhaust is the first things people target when looking for cheap power. Then a CAPA AU edit of some kind if you want to keep the motor un-opened. This will help find some extra power out of your setup after you do the intake and exhaust.
Id recommend looking at suspension mods first though. Better handling is often over looked to improve the cars cornering and over all fun factor.

Yeah thanks all so far.....
I've forgot to mention what I've done so far to my S1 Fairmont Ghia!!!! T series air intake (much bigger than Standard) K&N Filter Runs Duel Fuel New rear section of exhaust from diff with XR8 style tip but 3inch diameter less resonator (sounds nice & seems to go a little better). Car was already lowered & handles really well... came with 17inch Tickfords, Rear spoiler & Tint.... I want it to be a cruiser but also a bit of a sleeper..... It goes hard as is but would like a little more..... no harm in having lots of grunt on tap!!! : |

Id recommend you getting the rest of the exhaust done to add more power. A set of headers (although you may need to relocate your gas converter if you do) hi-flow cat, and mandrel bent exhaust with straight thru offset muffler. You should see a few more kw if you do that, and it will compliment your current mods.
