I'm an L plater mind you, who can drive the same cars that a fully licensed driver can. 4 years is a freaking long time to have the government restricting my choices.

I'm confused why they have made turbos and supercharged and turbos under 100kw exempt and not V8s under 100kw? Do those extra two cylinders do something I don't know about?

Smartest thing said in this thread. P platers need to realise that having there license is a privilege, not there right. And with this privilege comes responsibilities and conditions.

Learn to deal with it, and in 2 years time you can go out and get your turbo charged 4 banga or V8. Theres nothing wrong with getting experience before hoping behind the wheel of "high performance" vehicle...

Of coarse part of the maturity process we all have to go through is learning to accept and respecting authority and the laws imposed on us without getting indignant or throwing a sooky hissy fit.....

So now I don't respect authority and the laws? Nice generalisation you have there. (edited out).

This is all coming from the people who make thread having a sook about speed cameras booking them for driving 3km/h over the limit, or defecting their cars for something. If we talk respecting the laws and authority on this forum, you'd have to look to everyone here because how many people here have "illegal" modifications on their cars, travel 3km/h over the limit or walk backwards down the street doing a handstand while driving a M1A2 Abrams tank?

How many people here download music and movies? That's not respecting the law either. If everyone got off their high horses and took a look at themselves, you'd find there is also things wrong with your generation, not only mine. Its just pick on the new guys, I bet the parents of the baby boomers would have thought the same about them, same with the parents of generation X.

My generation might not "respect authority and the laws" in a generalisation but at least we don't go around and start global financial crysis'. You guys can close this thread now because its turning into a flame war with people trying to bait.

its ONLY a 1.4L that pumps out about 125kw... not bad for a small light car.
