Default Exhaust Shops Qld

Am looking for an exhaust shop that someone can recommend for doing some work on my hot rod. I currently are not aware of any shops and are looking for a place I can trust to touch my car. All I need done is tail pipes added to my mufflers so that it exits the rear of the car. But finding the right person is my problem at moment. I am located in the Beenleigh area. Thanks for any assistance with this request.

Try the guys at the top of moss st. I used to work with them when they were lee's exhaust furter down the road. I was the number 1 fabricator but the guy that taught me what i know now runs the new shop now known as Mild to Wild. either that or you could wait til the end of the month when i am down in brisbane for the weekend to do some work for you. can supply pics of my work on request.

So when are you in Brisbane? What sort of costs are involved? Going from Stainless 3" mufflers to rear of car, both sides. Where are you able to do it from? Location? Some some pics you you need.

I'll be flying into brisbane friday 28th and flying out monday 31st in the afternoon. If you could get me some pics of where the mufflers are and where the tail pipes need to be run so i can estimate how much pipe and how many bends i will need that will be fine. I will be staying at the inlaws place on the out skirts of browns plains. I forget the name of the suburb at the moment. I can come to you or might be able to do the pipes around at their place once i organise a TIG welder.

here's some of the work i did when i was in brisbane.

Extractors to suit a 510ci big block RHD camaro

Extractors to suit a T-bucket waiting for ceramic coating

Dual 3 inch system under a 400ci small block torana

Dual 2.5 inch stainless system to suit a 100 series V8 landcruiser

Your work looks good. Here is a couple of pics. when it was first done and one that shows roughly the length to go but will go out and do some measurements.

The end of the mufflers to the furthest point of the car is 800mm. There would be a few bends involved though to get around shockers, fuel tank and tyres. Entire system is 3" and front section is HPC coated and mufflers, flanges and rear dump pipes are all stainless.

Just spoke to one of the guys involved in the rego scheme and he said its meant to be 40mm past the last seam of the vehicle. With mine he said its ok to be just back from the end of the horn covers and cut on an angle if I wished. With the issue of clearence he has no problems how close with things we run it because with air flow it should not cause any problems with the heat?? So if you work on going from the muffler around the shocker then in between the tyre and tank and then straight to the back it should work out ok. Also might be able to join them solidly to muffler if you think as there are the flanges at front where I can dismantle for any reason. If you think flanges at rear would be a good idea I have no issue with that either.

As with both these coupes pipes will have to end about the same as them. Just had a quick look and it will be possible, tight and might have to hung down a little at rear of tank but should work out ok.

shouldn't be a problem.

Oh and by the way, to all other members, don't let the goings on between me and agony stop you guys from reccomending any other exhaust place for him to try. Just because I may seem like a good choice doesn't mean I'm the one and only. Let the buyer choose what he wants from as many possible shops as you would reccomend.

p.s. If this makes no sence it's cause I'm really drunk

Mates of mine have had good experiences with Rob Bliss Exhausts at Geebung. I hope to be getting some work done with them soon too. One of the cars had a small rattle/vibration....took it back they fixed it no probs no more cash or questions asked. Also have been helpful RE feedback on the best stuff to use. I am pretty sure they do the sort of 'hotrod' work you are after as well. Not sure though....best to give them a call (i can't find their number off hand but you know, google it ha ha)

i have used right price exhaust on moss st for the last few years on a few cars. good bunch of blokes. they will always honor any warranty issues. i don't have anything as custom as yours though, just a 2.5in system on the LTD and they also replaced the whole system on the F100 (6 cyl, 2 1/4in??) other than that, i've used them for other vehicles with standard systems.
