Default e10 Fuel Octane

Been looking at some of the threads in different forums about e10 and ethonol added fuels. Just checking the BP website, it claims that e10 is only 91 octane the same as normal unleaded. Where do you find the information on others that it is the same octane as premium?
What is worse is that BP claim (Quote) 'You may find a 2 - 3% decrease in fuel economy, but this would be no different to the fuel economy loss when tyre pressure is 5 psi lower than optimum.'

I have noticed that there is no 2 - 3% decrease in the price to offset this decrease in economy.

Any other observations on ethonol fuels? :monkes:
