Love the title of the thread though.....
A sad boy and barking dog have resonated with Ford fans. Its not the Ford Fans you need ears pricking up on or eyes opening wide, its the others who don't already have one..... Stoney!

The Mondeo Add is excellent, yes voice control might be a gimmick, but so is climate control or an automatic gearbox, whats wrong with normal air con or just winding up and down windows.. It's called progress gentleman, Can't wait to see your reaction to a re-release of a FGII Goodolboys pack featuring a 3 Speed Column Manual, No Air Con as that's what windows are for, no CD as we should just talk to one another and focus on the road, no cruise as the devil invented that, Hell why not go back to non ABS brakes, can't people brake hard for themselves FFS.. |

It is, and it works because it shows the TT is something to be envied and desired. It doesnt matter why. For example, what is the Toyota "feeling"..best as i can work out, it's boredom.

Some of the members who dislike these new ads are generally people who lack taste in style, class or elegance -minimal intelligence, standards and fasion sense. most likely found wearing mockies, flannelette shirts and consuming VB

The entire campaign has been very well targeted at the non enthusiast and the fact that non car people are talking about them is enough to place the product in those same minds.
Enthusiasts are either already a sold market or will do lots of research / testing / considering before making a purchase decision but this campaign is aimed at the much larger audience that needs to be quickly sold on a few basic highlights rather than reams of data. At that level I think they both work very well and the improved Territory sales since their inception while still not back to the levels they used to be at are still some 25% up on the worst months this year. On that bais I am sure the marketing department will be happy. Cheers Russ
