Should be covered, take it back to your dealer. More than likely they will refer you to the aftermarket company that would have done the tint. Tints usually come with a lifetime warranty.

Take a look in your owners manual book, there should be a warranty card for the tint stating who tinted it, if not the dealer will know.
Similar thing happened with ours, took it to our own tint guy and he re-tinted the entire car and claimed it back, didn't cost a cent. |

Yeh its covered. But you have to take it back to the actual dealer u bought it from as they would have sub'ed it out to their local tint shop who covers it for warranty.
Get it done at the 3,000 km inspection. |

My dad has the same thing with his Mazda 6. His tint on the drivers window has peeled back an inch. It was the factory Mazda 6 tint option. Unfortunately this has all happened after his warranty has ended.
I get all my window tinting at Solar tint in Wetherill Park. Had 5 cars tinted with him and will use him for all other tints in future. Good priced and very good work. |

If you got it done at the dealer then it would have been billed at premium prices, there should be no objections getting it seen to under warranty if there's an issue.
Even if the vehicle is out of warranty, all the tinting I've ever had done on my cars come with a minimum 5 year warranty - most of them being lifetime. Never had a car long enough to test whether they'll honour it though. |
