howdy,
my mate is looking at trading his skyline in on a new car (falcon xr or fpv) and wants to spend around the $30k mark. he wants an fg xr6t, but i doubt he's going to get one for that price. alternatively he would consider a bf f6 or b-series gt. we've surfed the net, but other than a black f6 in tas on carsales, nothing REALLY appeals to him... anyone have any suggestions or hidden gems to offer ?

depends on the type of skyline. maybe try a few of the import/sports car yards there should be a few where you are i know we have a couple of yard here that deal in all those sorts of cars. or he could try and sell his privately might get more money for his car then trading it in.

I've seen a couple of FG 6T's for $30k.
Dealer on carsales for $29,990, though, that one's a pretty good chance that it's an ex-chaser.. |

I'd second the call for an XR5 Turbo Focus based on the price. He should take one for a drive first before anyone's opinon here can be taken for gospel - after all it's his money.
So without telling him to buy an XR5, I'm telling him to at least test drive one! Brand new car, warranty, bulletproof inline-5 engine and turbo torque. He should enjoy it.
