Default Why am I asked to log on to the site when I am already logged on to perform a search?

When ever I perform a search on this site after logging on I am asked to log on again when I already have logged on, so I have to log twice to perform the search, does anyone know why?

When you log in do you have the "remember me" box ticked?

It might help. don't know why it is doing that, but might be something for you to try

Wow.... that's just what I did and here I am. I posted something about upgrades and for the last 10 hrs or so I haven't been able to log on. But I saw my name as logged on at the bottom of the main page.

I tried ticking "remember me" and voila.... I logged on. I've never had this problem before the upgrades, is it just a glitch?

I also use Firefox.
