Talking with a mate who suffered a very nasty accident when a dolly wheel collapsed during a camper trailer move. The trailer came down onto his tibia and made a hell of a mess. 3 months down the track and he finally had the time to work out what the hell happened. Long story short..the OEM dolly wheel had been changed to a " user friendly " lighter unit that wasn't load rated for the trailer. Something to watch out for when buying second hand ( private sale )

We had a guy at work have a similar (perhaps) accident. He was turning the trailer around with a swing-up type dolly wheel. The gap between the plate on the drawbar and the plate on the wheel was enough that it flexed and the locking pin released, result was a hospitalisation-type injury.

Yep, has been something to watch out for for many decades! But good to remind everyone now that trailers are coming back into vogue with families.
