Smile Soggy chassis, my butt

I just went for a blast up beechmont road and back in my 1989 turbo capri. Now to set the record straight, I have driven some quick cars, I've been a mechanic for 21 years. Now aside from the understeer when the 13PSI turbo kicks in (and what car wouldn't wheelspin in the wet with 13PSI boost) I can honestly say that this car DOES NOT HAVE A SOGGY CHASSIS!!!! Those who say it has, either hasn't driven one of these cars OR is just going off reviews written by biased magazine writters. My Capri was an absolute ball of fun. It did let me down by only holding 13 PSI for about 2000RPM, then dropping back to 6 or 7 PSI, BUT that was the ONLY let down. I didn't run out of brakes or run out of handling. The tyres are about 2 years old and had limited grip, BUT I HAD FUN!!!!! If anyone knows the road I was on, they would know what it's like and how much you need a GOOD car to enjoy it. ALL comments are welcome, be it good or bad. I have my flame suit on so go ahead and comment. This is just a good write up on how good these Capri's are, regardless of what you have heard!!!!

Personally I've seen the rack mounting bolts torn from the firewall. So hitting this "lovely" boost of yours cornering, with a weak mounting point for a rack could be rather interesting to say the least.

Please read the manual carefully, as the these manufacturers spent millions of dollars making sure it is perfect.....Now why are there so many problems with my car, when I follow the instructions to the letter?....Answer, majority rules round here

Lock me up and throw away the key because I'm a hoon....I got caught doing 59 in a 60 zone
