Hey guys, i know its a ford forum but i know some of you have cars from other companys too. Anyway, ive got a 1990 Camaro RS project that im doing up and was wondering where to get parts in Australia?
US ebay is good for some parts but the postage is a killer on some larger items, i was wondering if anyone knew of any Aus parts suppliers or chev wreckers? At the moment im chasing some Aus compliance headlights and other random parts to suit. |

Firstly, nice car mate. Always good to have something a little different to everyone else. Being a 1990 Camaro RS, you must have the 305 TPI engine?
I get my Chevy parts from pontiworld. A little bit more than buying from US suppliers but top service and Dave always states exactly what you get and delivered to your door. But for parts you can wait and specialist parts I would order them from the US. You have to show us pics of your Chevy.

Nah its actually a 3.1 v6... for now. It needs to be regoed then i will look into an ls1 conversion for it. Its black over a black interior (except the taxi looking 80's seats lol). Going to get the bumper and the bonnet resprayed asap as they have taken a beating, also getting a set of 17" Showwheels Streeters in grey with a polished lip. After that it should be a quick good looking cruiser.

Yup, Dave at pontiworld is pretty good. He goes to the states all the time. If you give him a shopping list, he will get it next time he goes over.

Not too sure on where to get the rest of the parts, but most Commodore owners could direct you to a source of Chev badges with the snap of their fingers!
