Gday guys, This is my first year participating in Movember, and have set my personal goal to raise $1000 for the guys at the Prostate Cancer foundation of Australia & the guys at Beyond Blue. Obviously I will be keeping a daily photo journal of my follicle foray for all to see. To show my commitment, I'm donating my face to the cause by growing a moustache for the entire month of November, and need your support. My Mo will spark conversations, and no doubt generate some laughs; all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds for prostate cancer and male depression. Why am I so passionate about men's health? *1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime *This year 20,000 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed *1 in 8 men will experience depression in their lifetime I'm asking you to support my Movember campaign by making a donation by Donating online at: http://mobro.co/OnTrack If you'd like to find out more about the type of work you'd be helping to fund by supporting Movember, take a look at the Programs We Fund section on the Movember website: http://au.movember.com/about Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men's health. Gary Dawson

Sigh, I was all set to do Movember, but my other half said if I'm doing Movember, she's going to do Fanuary (put 2 and 2 together), so it's a no go for me and I've donated all my cash to my best mate who's got a porn star mo happening.
It's a great cause and everyone should get behind it. Mens health is far too neglected in this country. |

Yea im going for a chopper this year lol. Best of luck QIK006, I am also trying to get all my workmates involved to raise some money.
I must say I was a little disappointed at the celebrity participation over the past few years. Last year our cricket or football teams didn't even participate, yet they will do anything for breast cancer awareness, not being sexist but these are male sports..

Are you allowed to grow a beard instead of just the mo?

I couldn't grow a Mo in a year, let alone a month so I stick to donations. Each year I give $500 to a group of guys I know who really take it seriously.
It's a very good cause and one that we'll beat one day. |

I've done it the past 2 years, but getting Married on the 19th and SWMBO has of course reminded me I can do it next year!

If anyones not in a team yet why not make an AFF Team of Mo Bros and we can put up pics on the forum? I'm gonna do it again this year. I've been practicing not shaving at work for the last 12 months - the boss is loving it... lol

One of the unlucky ones who can't grow a good thick upper lip bush - I wish I could, I've always wanted one!
