Looking at this article from drive.com.au; and found this quite interesting:

It would be a neat thing to scroll through that sort of extra digital data. The BA-BF falcons had a 'Police mode', where the digital odometer would display the digital speed, but this required Ford diagnostics to unlock it. I once asked the dealer if they would do it for me, but was denied. |

Police mode in the BA/BF cluster can be turned on and off using a Terminal Program and an ELM327 tool off eBay.

I know the AU has dash diagnostics... been a few threads on them already.
BA/BF has an ICC (premium) diagnostics with a little bit of info (forget how to do it) VT/VX has dash diagnostics similar to AU My washing machine can also play the Australian anthem

In my 300c you hold 2 buttons on the steering wheel for about 5 seconds and you get access to a similar menu as teh OP.
In some models it even has a 0-100kmh timer. Unfortunately my v8 doesn't, but my mates V6 does |

EF/EL Falcons have it. Forgot the process, but it involves turning the ignition off and holding in the trip computer reset button. Handy for those without a trip computer as the dash can display fuel consumption information.

I seem to recall there was one of those on the VX Series 2 Lumina we used to own, some sequence of holding down a couple of buttons when you started it, and you ended up with a digital speedo in the small screen, fuel flow in liters per minute, charging voltage, and a few others.

Nobody picked up the sarcasm in post #3?
Would be pretty cool. But then why haven't various tuners picked this up? |

Looking to find the extra digital vehicle/engine information which might be readily available to FG owners, as it seemingly is to VE Commodore owners. |

FFS! This isn't a Camray - Orion thread!
Check that junk out at your local tip. Please contribute if you might know how to activate FG/BF/BA extra data from the dashboard controls. Much like the average VE Commodore driver seemingly can. Otherwise, there is surely a Camray forum for which you could relay your Camray-related fantasies & tips to. Thanks |

cheap ELM327 Bluetooth dongle ... and the Torque app on your Android phone. Plenty of information right there.
