Cowra, Canowindra, Cargo, Orange, have been both ways but this is easily the best drive. Nerandra up to forbes etc is ok.
No real bad spots just the usual stock on road , Normal driving around 6 1/2 7 hours. Theres a heap of blokes on cruise at bathurst on sunday only 40 mins from orange if ya finish early. go home bathurst, cowra, wagga. Cheers Kevin

I remember when i was last out there ... there was more of a cruise scene in Orange than Bathurst (I think Bathurst people drove out to Orange at night to cruise).

I Lived up there for many years, If you want a nice quiet drive go Wagga - Temora - Bribbaree- Grenfell - Canowindra - Cargo - Orange. About 3 hours will pull it up and it's a nice drive. Alternately you can go Temora - Young - Cowra - Canowindra - Cargo - Orange, about the same time but not as quiet and the boys in blue keep a close eye between Young and Cowra.
Regards, Tote

MN, Im heading over tomorrow afternoon, hope to get there about 9pm. On Friday and Saturday Im busy all day until 4pm, and on Sat nite I'll be heading home. So friday night is really the only night I have free.
