If I was him, I'd be out of this nanny country. He did nothing, didnt kill anyone! did he even do anything but cruise around within the speed limits?

He broke the conditions of his already questionable P plate exemption for starters, and according to reports refused to stop for police and locked himself inside his parents house too at one point.

I hope they throw the book at him when he goes to court so maybe he gets it in his head that he's not above the law just because he is young, rich and famous.

What cave do you live in?

This spoilt little twat has already set up in Monaco as a tax haven. So he trains at the Australian institute of sport at Australian taxpayer’s expense, then choses not to pay tax here. Well **** him.

So the next time I’m on the Hume in the truck and see the angry lights in the mirror, I’ll continue driving home and request that Ken Lay comes to my house to discuss why that nasty police man dare try to stop me.

Also, just because this punk can hit a tennis ball, doesn’t mean that he can drive.

There is a red P plater around the corner from me getting around in a new VE V8 ute, with custom WA plates I see getting around town fairly often, he probably works in the mines I assume and drives his car back here on time off.

Why not buy a Falcon or Commo and dump it on 20's like every other p plater? He could have still kept the BMW then!

Or who thinks because he is rich and has money daddy will protect him with expensive lawyers?

A ticket given by police MEANS YOU ARE GUILTY OF A OFFENCE as you were CAUGHT IN THE ACT and you can CONTEST it in court if you want. There is NO presumption of innocence when getting a ticket.

A ticket MEANS YOU WERE CAUGHT BREAKING THE LAW.

Presumption of innocence deals with criminal law... not traffic offences.
Sorry mate, all traffic offences are also alleged offences. If as a Police Officer, you see someone talking on their mobile phone while driving, pull them over and say, "You were just on your mobile phone, here's your ticket" That person can take it to court and fight the ticket. They may not win. If however you say, "What were you just doing?" And the person replies, "Talking on my phone" then they're guilty. Same goes for speeding. All speeding fines are alleged offences also. Even the speed you were travelling at is an alleged speed.

If not the case, and he was the owner of the car, then he should not of gotten the exemption, as the car was purchased by choice. I think Tomic may have told some porkies and is slowly extracting himself from this, starting by getting rid if the flashy car.
I believe he was NOT sponsored by BMW. And I agree, he should not have been driving the car unless he met the exemption clauses in the road rules.

Last time I checked Broadbeach is a fair distance from Southport where he trains.

I'd buy the car just so I could rock up out the front of his joint and burn it in front of his eyes. Selfish little *****.

Saw Tomic yesterday, was going to mention the M3, but didnt :-) I wonder what his reserve is!

At Geelong, the Davis cup with China is being played this weekend. You can go watch them close up practicing! Fantastic stuff!! The serves Tomic does are bullets! And yeah, you can look from the fence (metres away) during practice sessions until the real matches begin on Friday. Hewitt is there too, how he gets some of those balls back escapes me!!
I play tennis, not too badly, but its just fast forward stuff that these guys are doing.

who cares about tomic. i hate seeing aussies cheer him on, when he was so undecided a few years ago about whether to play for australia or his home country. he chose australia for the money and glamour (letting him buy high powered cars, and then feeling so empowered to blast them around on public roads). he is a loser. i know his real national devotion is to croatia. next time you aussies cheer him on, dont be fooled, he is not representing australia, he is representing himself, do not forget the words he and his father spoke a few years ago. he has made small success in the tennis world, and he thinks he is a celebrity now and can drive how he wants on public roads. the police were smart to this, and he feels he is the victim??. i pity the bogan that buys his car and then brags to his mates that an aussie tennis star owned it, before tomic gets fed up with australia again and goes plays for croatia.

but looking at it another way, i guess disrespecting australian road rules and australian police makes him as much aussie as most of us!!! isnt that the aussie tradition and culture? lol
