I call them Japanese imports or Japanese cars. Just like everyone has their likes and dislikes, some like the import scene.
======> I have my fav but that's me. On a side note, one word I never use is the 3-letter shortened version for the word Japanese. It's derogatory here where I am. I don't know how it's taken in AU or other countries. |

You could learn a thing or two from "the middle aged dudes" on this forum. Like Pottery Beige is actually the colour of his car. |

Well anyway, my mate bought an imported Nissan Cefiro with the screw holes still in the dash where the taxi meter used to be. Still with coil overs, manual box and minor mods one of the funnest cars i've driven.

I doubt the cefiro was a taxi...unless it was a pov pack no turbo.
Cefiros are ment to sit above skylines as a more luxo spec car...

Jap can be no more derogatory than Being called an Aussie,
they are both shortened for peoples race, Im not racist but can someone explain why its so bad to call them "Japs" when people call us "Aussies".... thats a bit of a contradiction someone has decided to create sometime in our lifetime and it has now become Taboo Last edited by TTerbo; 23-02-2012 at 07:49 AM. |
