My old supervisor in my current job has a v8 vt commadore and when he found out i got a falcon he said
" oh mate better phone ahead and book your car in at the mechanic's"
up until this day in the 7 months of knowing him he's car has broken down twice and been in the workshop 3/4 times and hes currently selling it for $5500...... haha should i tell him to buy a falcon once he sells? (if he sells)

If the VT has that 5.7 litre Chev disaster under the bonnet, I wonder if your old supervisor checks his driveway for oil puddles. My dad borrowed a VE Clubsport for two weeks (it was a horrible car to drive with what felt like barely any low down torque and an infuriating dead spot in the steering, but that's another story) and the car leaked oil all over the driveway. I pointed this out to my dad (an ardent Holden fan...who currently drives a Ford) and he tried to pass it off as air conditioning fluid. This was at 18000 kilometres, mind you. Those 5 litre Holden motors weren't bad at all, and had quite a satisfying exhaust note (even if they weren't up to the standard of the Windsor).

Yeah, wasn't to sure about the oil leaks though it had a reca moro in it , though my dad had a 5.7 gen 3 vt berlina, comfy to drive but yeah transmission made it's way out (this was in 2004) and it had a common p.s leak.

A mate of mine owns a VZ SS 6.0L Thunder ute, he never stops bragging about the power of it. After a drive in my XR6t he looked at me blankly and said "that thing is insane and would destroy my car" lol
