Default BA xr8s under ten grand

Buy it now price on ebay of 9350

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2003-FORD-FAL...QQcmdZViewItem

Scam for sure asked him why it was so cheap here is the email I was sent

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in my 2003 Ford Falcon BA XR8. I want you to
know that I closed my auction earlier because someone has offered me the buy
it now price, but didn't have all the money available. The price I want to
obtain for it is AU $9,350 (this price includes shippment and insurance
charges).
I'm in the Military and TNT-Carrier will manage me a low price for shipping
and if you will pay the money transfer taxes wich will be at $400, I will
pay for the shipping fees. I will arrange for you not to pay any duties when
the car will pass through customs. In this way the car will be delivered to
your home address. We found out that we cannot register the car here,
because it is an AU model (Australian Delivery, RHD) with AU specs and
Europe regulations are different from the australian ones. Also we didn't
pay yet the duties for bringing it here and if we sell it back to AU there
will be no more duties to be paid. Now we have our money stucked with this
vehicle, so the low price is for a fast cash deal.
The car is like new, completely working, low miles, 2003 model. It has
always been garage kept. It will be shipped via air freigth with TNT-Carrier
Air Cargo from Prague, Czech Republic and it will take no more then 5 days
for the car to arrive at the delivery location. The shipping costs and the
insurance taxes of the package will be down to me and you will pay the fees
for transferring the money (about 5% of the total amount). If you are not
100% content with the car, you will ship it back on my expense to get your
money back. I am sure this will not happen, because it is a state of the art
vehicle and you will have no reason to reject it.
This is a large purchase and I would like to use a third party for this
transaction as I want a smooth and safe transaction. We will use Square
Trade, I have completed a lot of successful deals using them. I have a
purchase protection account of $10,000 with them. If this is your first time
using eBay Square Trade here are their terms: if you will not receive the
car exactly as advertised or you won't receive it in 15 days since you made
the payment, eBay Square Trade will refund you from my eBay Square Trade
account.
If you agree with these terms, please send me your full name, shipping
address and eBay ID so I can register the transaction with eBay Square Trade
asap.
Regards,

What a surprise, it appears it is no longer available
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Ebay strikes again! Ebay actually allow this stuff to go on, they dont do anything about those selling free gmail accounts or cars that don't exist, but if you dont pay a fee for something that didn't even sell... you're a criminal. Hopefully one day this will be it's downfall.

**EDIT: ok looks like they did this time. my bad. it isn't going to change my opinion of ebay as a whole though. :**

"There has been 2 lawyers arranged as due to a situation where winning bidder doesnt pay charges will be pressed against them.. So only serious bidders please. "

Oh yeah sure - its funny how these guys never actually think about what legal grounds, and how much advice from a solicitor would cost. At least $1,000 for anyone whos good.

I would love to know how many people get sucked into to these ebay scams. And where does the offence take place?
