supercheap aren't so cheap - top radiator hose $19 at supercheap, $12 at autobarn. Always pays to shop around.

i know this is off topic but i did not want to start a new thread....Please be carefull with ramps. I had a very close call with these being flung forwards on a concrete surface, if you intend buying ramps from anywhere make sure you can weld. Im going to weld more angle iron to the traction side of the ramps. Supercheap sell standfred which have to much of a distance from each step and the tires hop from one to the other and this leads to the tire embedding to far. luckily never made it to the top level because this has even a bigger gap and the wheel would bog down at that point and virtually get planted there. No telling how you can get car down from that point without blasting the thing backwards.

Will also weld a mild steel tube to the back of it that will allow a 10 mm rod to slide down so that this will penetrate pre drilled holes into concrete which can be removed after job done....... this will prevent any ramp slippage or creepage.

If you do intend buying ramps you need to modify them and a welder is needed. I tried the carpet trick but no thanks I dont trust it anymore. So if you buy a supercheap one or any other be warned of this danger. Dont want anyone getting hurt........

There are some ramps with a checker plate riser which i believe is a better option. I will weld same profile angle iron at least 30mm apart for better wheel grip

Time to get another 50 cans of degreaser! Just found they do the export brand degreaser (Solvent based so it actually works) in 4L cans for $19 at the moment.

They had a good deal a little while ago for the Export Degreaser.
12 cans for $20 ... I bought a box ... well worth it.

And yes .... it definitely works a treat.

Cheers for the heads up, looked at the date of the first post and thought "oh no, useless bump" but thanks

You watch, I don't need anything today, but will decide tomorrow I want/need something from there. Always the way it goes!

Thanks for the heads up. Went down this morning and bought 3 x 1 litres of 80/140 Nulon synth diff oil, plus a few other bits and pieces I need for the Tezza - total was $140, but would have been more like $175, so a $35 saving was well worth it.

Got oil and oil filter today, so didn't save a heap.
Should have saved the paint supplies and things I bought yesterday for today. But I didn't realise.
