Does anyone know where I can acquire a new AU IRS upper control arm outer bush, I'm desperate. I took the Fairlane in to get the IRS outer upper control arm bush changed today and after stripping the control arm out and discovering that the wrong bushes had been sent the mechanic went hunting for the correct one only to discover that it's a deleted part at Ford and apparently nobody makes the outer control arm bush. You can still get the inner bushes but no outer, at least my mechanic couldn't track one down. Is there any after market manufacturer that still makes them? If I don't find one I'm going to be forced to buy a second hand control arm with a good bush which I'm not happy about as the asking price is $150 + freight.
