Hey guys i picked up a couple of 17x7.5" rims with the thought of getting some ET streets for my BF F6. Initially i was looking for 275/40/17s but after a bit of googling it doesn't seem like a 7.5" rim will be wide enough to support that.
So question one, will it work or will it be unsafe or what? Question 2, I also have my standard 18x8 bf f6 rims so i could go for a 265/40/18 ET street, but sacrificing width and paying more would i be better off finding a pair of 17s to run the 275s or what? My car has 350rwkw and i haven't taken it to the strip yet, i will run on street tyres first just to see what its got but my aim is to take it to the 10s on ET streets. Cheers |

i'd go for the 275, would be better going at least a 9'' wheel, provides more tyre contact and more stable at high speeds.
