Maybe some of these "geeks" can come up with a windows version of the Apple software we used to use, and need... Quick time virtual authoring studio! Since they stole our Macs, the closest thing is VRToolkit, and after 20 nodes, it dies!

Its running on Windoze, what do you expect...
You need a Unix system if you want to do some real work.

Just going on the fact that nearly every person is a computer techie or close to it, what are your qualifications? This applies to everyone as well. Just would be interesting to see...

I drive a mechanical street sweeper, 9 days a fortnight.

Good pay depending considering the work i do, 5am - 2pm everyday except Thrusdays when i have the option of doing overtime usually about 3hrs. Every 2nd Monday off, even though im casual. My sweeper has air con, cd player, and a really good heater for those cold mornings.

I love it, no traffic on the roads in the morning when driving to work, everyone is really good at work even my supervisors, and i should be getting put on FT in about 2 months... hopefully i can take what sickdays are owed to me.

Very cruisy job, but when all my debts are paid back to Mum, i want to go into IT work.

I work for one of the country's biggest Bicycle Importers. Basically just talk to our dealers on the phone occasionally, and burn around the warehouse on new test bikes, and practise my monos up and down the aisle. Work 40 hours a week, but it doesn't feel like work.

Before that spent 5 years working in the share registry game for the world's biggest share registry, first in a technical IT support role, then moved into Client Relations. That joint sucked *** though, so left to do something that I'm loving.

My earlier post does not apply now, I'm now training to be a Auto Electrican, not technican, and its not at a Ford dealer, but I think electrical is the better way to go.

I work for a mob called OSS [Overseas Shipping Services] World Wide Movers. We do furniture removals, but mainly specialise in overseas imports and exports, usually packing the contents of a house into a shipping container and sending it to Botswana or somewhere, or having a container sent to us from Khasikistan and then having to unload it all into a house in Pascoe Vale.

When I work in store, it's pretty much 7am to 3:30pm, but if I'm on a pack and wrap or delivery, there's been times when I've gotten back to the depot at 8:30pm.
