I use my logitech system hooked up to my laptop. The whole house shakes and I can hear it in the culdesac. I paid $199. Not sure I could justify the price tag to **** my neighbours off any more than I may already have.

Looks a bit crude, will appeal to teenagers and people who don't care about sound quality.

I will bet however, that it is fricking loud...

that wouldnt be the Logitech Z623 with the 10" sub by any chance?

I would love this Panasonic mini system, but im aware how much bass can travel & annoy others living around you so its hard to justify the price

Im curious to hear it though........... might walk in to betta electrical and test it out

The question is the 2300W... is that peak or rms?

My guess is peak. If so, that isn't a lot. My mini system has 7500W written on it... that is the peak figure. The RMS power is only 680W

Au mont it was these http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=321081273682 the z-2300 I just checked my ebay history and I bought them in 2010 from logitech shop for $114 incl the shipping. I remember looking them up when I got them and they were the bargain of the year. I got a few other things from them also because they were so much cheaper than retail stores. But it seems over time they have shifted the prices to be a bit more retail.

wow $114 was a great price

it appears the Z-623 is the successor of Logitech Z-2300 model, but it seems the Z-2300 was better made.

I'm glad my neighbours don't have this. They can't seem to watch any movie or listen to a song without having the home theatre up heaps loud.

I'm contemplating if $1.3k would be worth it to take them down a peg or two :

Maybe I'm getting old but that is butt ugly. It might be loud but I bet it will sound like crap but will be aimed at the teens.

the styling is purposeful.

i personally love how they went for the retro 70's "boom box" look. Made for wow factor rather than sleek and modern

and regarding sound quality.......... cmon guys. If your a pedantic audiophile, who loves to hear the crisp high & lows of your favourite Beethoven Symphony, then look somewhere else.

this is an "in your face" retro system, purely designed to flatten anyone who dares knock on your door to turn it down lol !!

I just bought a logitech sourround sound system z-906 for $350 and for the price it's amazing . . . I hear the presuccessor was alittle bit better but it looks outdated though
