Post Obtaining Build/option sheets

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times, but how do I go about getting a copy of the option list / build sheet, whatever it is actually called for an old Ford - ZD Fairlane. I'm sure if I just rang a Ford dealer I would get the run around big time, who should I contact?
thanks.
