I recently used Prixcar and was happy with their service and price. Maybe try them. They also have online quoting.

Did you get a rail quote or is that something nobody does?

I used Prixcar to transport 2 of my cars late last year Perth to Melbourne. I definitely am not going with them when i move back, snapped my handbrake lever and refused to pay for it. The manager in melbourne was an absolute cow to deal with even though i was polite to her.
Over $110 they've lost at least $2,500 of my business next year, their loss! |

I used CEVA - from Geraldton WA to Melbourne $980 fully enclosed.
Damn good service, condition reports at every interval and not a mark on the car (T3 dont exactly have great ground clearance for ramps etc). Was also quick with a 4 day turnaround. Oh and as for the Suzuki Swift, Aust. Post can do overnight Express on parcels less than 20kg.

It's always more expensive transporting cars to WA, so don't compare prices for transport east from WA.

100% agree with that! had to wait 6 weeks to get my coupe back to adelaide from perth as not much moving in this market for a higher priced car.
