Hey guys,
I'm REALLY sorry if this has been posted before... I can find info on AU I conversions, not sure if it's different for AU II? Anyway I am picking up a Tickford cluster for my AU II Forte tomorrow and was just wondering if I will need anything else to make the conversion? From what I have read about the AU I conversions you need an oil pressure sensor to replace the sender... is it the same for the series II? Anything else that will need changing? Apart from getting the eprom reprogrammed. Sorry again if this has already been posted somewhere, I did do a search but couldn't find anything much. Cheers |

you don't need to change the oil sender in a S2 or 3 . don't try to fit a S1 cluster in a S2 you will have dramas with the sound system. the right cluster will have a blue facia like the pic

Cluster is in and looks good, wasn't as hard as I expected. For anyone doing the same definitely get the 12 pin plug off an XR (I got it off the same car as I got the cluster off at the wreckers)... makes it easy as

HI au3xr6 was just reading this thread and came across your post with the link on it. I had a look at the link which is part of what I am looking for, the other part I am chasing is the same thing but for the AUII and was wondering if you would possibly have it or know where I could download it from. I have a problem though is sitting in driver seat looking at front of cluster the plug on th left is a 20 pin plug ant the one on the right is a 16 pin plug. Have you done left and right as looking at the back of the cluster. By the way my ride is a 06/99 AU Falcon 'S' which I was told because of build date brings it into an AU1.5 is that so. Thanks for any help you can give me. |
