Default New Renault Clio IV Review: Tis a potential class leader - "A new ballgame"

Here it Be..

Priced from $16,790

Sat-nav as standard in all but the entry model

Five-year warranty & Five-years roadside assistance.

Capped price servicing ($299 for its annual service over the first three years)

Parts are priced among the cheapest in the sector – beaten only by the Fiesta among popular light cars.

Quote:
In this, for quality feel, it is a match for the [VW] Polo

What sets it apart in a sector where there are some very good buys – like the Fiesta, i20, and Mazda2 – is the Clio’s quite amazing on-road comfort and equally amazing quietness.

For refinement on ratty Aussie roads, Renault’s new Clio has all-comers in the sector shot to bits. None of its competitors can match it.

Looks like a cracking good buy in this sector. The RS should be good for those who want a DSG 4 door hot hatch.. Me, I'm still a little too immature to require a DSG 4 door car

nice car, seen a stack of them (RS) heading up St Kilda road the last couple of mornings. I saw some kind of promotion they were doing on the corner of St Kilda and I think Leopold St.
Actually look a lot bigger than the previous model.
The DSG puts me off a bit, nice car though, a manual and it would get a look in as a replacement for the XR5.

I agree with you Wretched, if the new Clio RS was a manual then I would definitely be looking at one myself. As soon as I hear DSG it just turns me off completely.

That looks good!! capped price servicing cheaper than Fiesta. Unusual for a Euro car..The competition in small cars just keeps getting better..the interior colour scheme is brighter than Fez..The orange looks good!!! Its game on !!

Never driven one, but looks interesting. My conservative nature will steer me towards a Fiesta.

Different, which is a good thing. The warranty and roadside is a big thing should bring in the sales, Renault are really trying, good on them.
