Default AUII V8 Clutch!!

G'day fellow petrol heads,
My clutch has being giving me drama's, short story is it shudders when I start off in first and reverse, worse when I ride the clutch or on steep inclines. Remedy any one?

Long story:
My clutch was showing signs of wear so I took it to my Ford dealer and asked if they would replace it. (It was under a Harrier used car warrenty) After a while they said yes and replaced the clutch and machined the fly wheel.

All was good for a couple of weeks when it started exibiting the shuddering signs as mentioned above. I took it back to Ford, they said it had to be sent back to Daiken for a warrenty claim. (They had used a Daiken, not a genuine Ford part because of the used car warrenty)

After alot of heart ache and lodging a claim with Dept. of Fair Trading they (Ford and Daiken) said they would replace it for me. Apparently Daiken made a special pressure plate for the clutch because of an apparent problem with the fly wheel (too thin). I got my car back and also noticed Ford had given me a new drive shaft!

All was good again but now after approx 2 months the clutch is shuddering slightly but does not seem to be getting worse.

What do I want? 2 things
A. Is this a commen problem, and if so, how do I fix it?
B. To make people away that they may have a problem with there manual V8 AU's.

Thank you for reading.

I dont know if there is a difference between the 6 and 8's clutch set ups, but with my XR6, my clutch started to shudder and slip..
I took it and got a Daiken Exedy heavy duty clutch put in, with new pessure plate, and a machined flywheel- its been great for the last 6 months, no issues with it what so ever..
sounds to me that they arent machining the flywheel enough, or properly, or if they have machined it too much its now too thin and possibly warping??? or getting high and low spots??? if this can happen??
