So will they be rebranded "CSV" when they drop Holden and bring in Chevy? lol And we think the blue team take us Ford fans for a ride.

Good on them if they can make it work.
But the commodore is the only thing keeping HSV alive IMO. . . and the fact they only used 200 people to stick them together. . . . Meanwhile in the blue camp, really excited about our future. |

Microsoft corporation owns the trademark on "CSV", for "Comma Separated Values" part of their Microsoft Excel format. No one can register or use the name. See here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/legal...perty/Patents/ Whilst they might use "Chevrolet Special Vehicles", the abbreviation CSV would be in breach of Microsofts patent and therefore actionable.

Chevrolet have been using the CSV name in the middle east since 2007. |

What is GM dumped the Holden name here, and HSV and Elfin partnered up to make Elfins badged as toranas or something...?

Elfin is finished isn't it?
Last time I checked they had not built any cars for months due to no demand, and haven't heard anything from them since. You can pretty much write them off. If HSV think they can somehow survive on tiny numbers of rubbish cars like Cruzes, Barinas, Malibus and the like they are kidding themselves. Holdens future line up is going to be absolute junk with whatever RHD cars they have at their disposal, cause the only decent things they have like Vettes, Camaros and Caddies more than likely won't be made in RHD, so it leaves a bunch of Korean junk. |

Not bad for a bolt on company. At least we rebuilt 70% of our fpvs engines and worked on engines built and designed here. Hsv deffinately put a good package together tho.
I'd love to see hsv stay with 'proper' modified cars like we get now. I'd like to see ford do this even more. Imagine factory tweaked mustangs, fiesta, focuses and so on. Would LOVE to see this. Can't trust Holden to do it right tho, that you can take to the bank..... |

What's too stop HSV from stockpiling several years worth of the last batch of 2017 Commorores to work with and keep their production going long after Holden have stopped production ? Fact is the GTS is selling well, why wouldn't they want to keep that party rocking for as long as they could ? After that who knows...maybe RHD CTS-V with Australian tuned suspension ?

Let's be honest.....they don't know what's going on. Probably just trying to calm the storm a tad with some good news now and then! |

Any reason an HSV Astra couldn't make a comeback? Opel might have gone but surely GM can still send Astras to Aus as Holdens via HSV tuning and body work.
FoST and FiST are popular enough here, why can't GM target the hot hatch market with HSV doing up something small? If it's done properly and at the right price it could be popular. *shrug* |

At least they're trying mate. Ford waving the white surrender flag so early on in regard to FPV is a sad and rather limp wristed effort IMO. |

Have to change their name to GMSV. Camro's aren't a Holden
