Default Check out these "AlloyGators"

Got these Alloy-Gators fitted to my FiSt today, they seem to be a big product in the UK but not so much here yet.
If you haven't heard of these, they are an alloy wheel protector from the dreaded curb rash. They are Nylon and fit between the rim and tyre, overlapping the edge of the rim, tyre requires deflation to fit but the Gator does not effect the tyre bead.
Here's some pics of them fitted to my car:

The installer has a different colour one on each corner of his car, belive it or not there is actually a black one on the front passenger wheel in the first pic:

They come in a range of colours and can fit up to a 21" Rim.
They are not widely distributed, but if your in Sydney you can contact Michael on 0412920712 He does Mobile Installations! (tell him Paul Sent ya!) There main guy is in Brisbane, Telephone:1-300-947-716. Not sure about other states but I'm sure if you contact the 1300 number they'll tell ya!
N.B. Shipping on this product from the U.K. is ridiculously over priced to protect the Australian Distributor, but at $50 a wheel installed, It's alot cheaper to replace one of these than it is to repair/replace your rim! I think they look good too!!

Was thinking rim skins as well but the method of application is different. Rim skins require a flat lip to stick to whereas these look to be able to be fitted more securely and I assume will work on any rim.

Similar products but the Alloy-Gator is superior to the rimskin.
Alloy gator is not fitted with 3M tape like the Rimskin.
