Default Manual or Stall converter?

Iv got the decision to basicly buy a manual conversoion from flywheel to driveshaft, but not 100% sure of the quality of these parts. so what would be better? buy this manual anyway, or buy a higher stall converter say 2500 rpm?

manual... with a manual you can 'drive' the car around corners. If straight line stuff is your thing a stallie and huge cooler would make some difference but as you haven't listed a diff ratio change in your sig the stall is only a bandaid mod on a 3.08 diff

Go with the manual.
The stall converter is awesome but take into consideration that evetually the Auto will require a rebuild to strengthen it, hence works out cheaper doing a manual conversion and is much more fun.

i spose there is no real way to tell how good the t5 gearbox is without taking it apart?
i took it for a drive (its in the car at the moment) gears feel ok i think, clutch feels a bit spongy.

By going manual you will gain 7 to 15 rwkws. With a stall converter you will lose some power. But you will get off the line and to 70 kays quicker.

Manual.

Convertor has to suit engine combo and digg gearing. Manual doesn't.
You need trans cooler with manual you don't.

So manual you say... How much would you pay for a complete manual conversion from a mate?
