Default AU Forte R-Series

Spotted this today, a Forte R-Series. Don't think I've ever seen one before, some kind of dealer special? Red insert strip, eggcrate grille, unique wheel covers.

I know what you mean, those super plain wheel covers really clash with the otherwise sporting theme of the model.

Wink Re: AU Forte R-Series

That appears to have a raised ride height?can see it comfortably clears the concrete gutter at front. Maybe a country pack that were sold thru country dealers. Recently was following a early au forte in same colour with the IRS option.

Those hub caps look like the generic ones you get at any auto store and anyone can put on a red stripe and a sticker on the boot. The grill is the ute grill that dealers put on in place of the fugly waterfall grill just to shift the S1 Forte before S2. The high rear end is just towing springs fitted. I call home made wanna be.
