"JEREMY Clarkson has shocked fans with a photo of his bloodied and blackened face after attempting the “most dangerous stunt” yet for his Amazon Prime motoring show.
Yesterday the ex-Top Gear host tweeted: “Tomorrow morning, I’m doing the most dangerous stunt I’ve ever attempted. This may well be a goodbye.” However it appears it wasn’t as he took to the social media site again today to reveal: “I survived the day. Just,” as he posted the alarming selfie. In it, his face is covered in what looks like soot or ash and blood is smeared on and around his nose, reported The Sun. Tomorrow morning, I'm doing the most dangerous stunt I've ever attempted. This may well be a goodbye. — Jeremy Clarkson (@JeremyClarkson) March 31, 2016 I survived the day. Just. pic.twitter.com/I9IB9OGwv1 — Jeremy Clarkson (@JeremyClarkson) April 1, 2016 The TV presenter is currently in the Jordanian capital of Amman filming the new show. He didn’t reveal what the stunt was but he followed up the selfie with another mysterious tweet, reading: “My first time in [Amman]. It hurt, but I liked it.” Meanwhile Richard Hammond, one of Clarkson’s co-stars on the new show along with James May, tweeted a photo of himself holding a large horn, writing: “Unlike m’colleague, our shoot this week never put my life in danger. But it was bloody unusual.” http://www.news.com.au/entertainment...59ffb1b4db465d

The writing was on the wall. One day his own bloated ego will lead to his demise. No matter how funny or comedic some might see him, hes still an arrogant tool that needs to come down to earth.

exactly.
I think all that people who are offended by Clarkson demonstrate is how vocal the vocal minority are. we're forever hearing about how offended people are, and there are endless calls for him to quit TV altogether, but when push comes to shove, he was the host of the biggest TV franchise on the plant. clearly, the vast majority of viewers simply don't care about the delicate sensibilities of minorities, and know he's directed his humour at non-minorities at least as much if not more often. much ado about nothing, but as always, we work ourselves into a lather over the 'big' issues..... |

I can't fault Clarkson on camera as he brings all the qualities and traits a good tv/show host should with his sense of humor, tactics, reviews of the cars he drives and so on.. Overall, he tends to behave like a person his age should since he has a reputation to uphold and cant risk the chance tarnish his own name.
However, off camera is another different story. He has an appalling track record of suffering from delusions of grandeur in needing to be treated like a member of the royal family and kicking up a stink over petty incidents like the latest, inducing to a verbal tirade and physical alterations with the member of the production team. He deserves to have his azz handed back over to him in golden platter to bring some sense in to him. |

Given he doesn't have a history of getting physical with subordinates, I'm willing to bet the producer in question inflamed the situation with his own actions/words. We already know Clarkson was quite stressed for personal reasons at the time... straw, camel's back? Someone in his position doest have the option of having a sickie or stress leave etc.

I enjoyed top gear when I first started watching, the three of them had s good rapport and that came across well on camera. But I felt the last 2-3 seasons it became overly produced and just not that fun anymore. I hope their new show does well, maybe a new start will invigorate all three of them. I also hope the new top gear does well, because I'd rather have more cars shows to watch, even if I didn't particularly like one of the presenters, than have the tv full of krap like mkr, Reno rumble, big brother and all of its ilk.... |
