Probably a long shot here but I might as well give it a go. Late (Unfortunately) I've been seeing a lot of fiesta st being smashed and written off. I was wondering is it possible to us the st seat/stereo for the ws? My thinking is maybe because they were both made in germany and probably share the same platform when it comes to these things. Would love to hear if anyone has done this?
Cheers in advance! |

There is a very good chance, they are both MK7 models

Yeah mine's a 3 door and does have the air bags in the seats. I'll most likely try the stereo one first, seeing as the seats get sold very quickly.

well God know's really (it's a shame that they are getting ridden off ), but my reasons for asking the question, is because i'd love change the way my fiesta looks. I think the st interior is fantastic, and is heaps better compared to the one that I have in my fiesta at the moment.

Why not do the trim properly? I am about to put a full trim through my WT Zetec. Its a modified front seat with extra large shoulders.
The ST seats get old very quickly for daily use.

I'm 6 foot 5, 110kgs, and the Zetec seats are good enough for me to drive 4 hours without being a cripple at the end.
That's a fair compliment. |

To me I don't mind the sportier seats. Just adds abit more to the car as well, in my opinion. My mates have brides in there 14's and it ain't that bad. thank's for all the support it means a lot!

I don't see any reason why ST seats wouldn't fit, aside from the ever-present potential airbag issues. Personally speaking, my concern with switching to ST seats would be that they lack lumbar support and I find after a while it gets a little uncomfortable...

So, its been a while since I have been in here. I haven't finished the entire trim but the front seats are done. I have used leather and suede with some embroidery.
Enjoy.

It is actually a focus ST pattern made to fit the WT seats. Alot of work went into it.

I find this statement very surprising I am upto 99,000 km in mine with virtually no noticeable wear on my seats and I work in a bluestone quarry and often wear either jeans or workpants, not exactly an environment for protecting seats and I do is wipe them with a damp cloth once a week

Oh, that comment was probably out of context a bit. I used a ST Focus to drive around for a few days and I think it was a combination of hard sprung car with such "hard" style (race inspired) seats that the novelty wore off and I was a bit sore. Not that they didn't last long or wear out.
On the other hand the seats in my Fiesta are one of the most comfortable seats I have ever used. That's a big statement from someone who sits in ALOT of seats in alot of different cars. My next best ranked seats would be out of a Range Rover Evoque or something like that.
