I can only comment from the thread title, but Everest is not an American Design. its Australian

The American design SUV is a stunner

I assume you've blown as gasket, given the poor grammar and sentence structure. However, there are a few points to be made.

To start with, the Everest is a Australian design, and is not sold in America. The Edge, is a global design, sold in Europe as well as America, and shares European design ideas (have a look at a Land Rover for reference).

I'll be honest, I love it that the Everest is Australian designed. But there is something about it that doesn't look right. It looks narrow and high.. It has the look that a strong wind could tip it over (I know that's not the case, but it looks unstable)

Walk into any dealer. Most new cars look ugly these days. Half of them look the same aswel, most are 4x4 or fwd and have more electronics than a Jaycar store.

The proverbial ship has sailed long ago for great new cars.

If the everest is designed in Australia, does it have to be approved in America by their standards? The everests interior is ugly compared to the australian Territory

I don't like the Everest from the back. Looks to rounded and skinny.

Front looks good as long as you get it in the right spec and colour

Everest also only needs a single parking space. Wins if used for shopping.
