I've got the PC version, it's pretty nice. Was just stuffing around with it before and yes the graphics could be better, but then again they look better in some aspects, and worse in others, but it runs lightning quick on my machine (p4 3.2e 1g ram radeon 9600XTg). Started the touring cars career with the Renault Clio series, having fun. And yeah, as was already said, if you think it's too arcade, change the settings.

This game is great fun to play, the v8s (and all the cars) sound awesome, and its a nice touch how the cabins vibrate under acceleration (and going over bumps etc) but the graphics couldve been alot cleaner. Theyre better overall (the cars dont look as chunky and arcadey as v82) but the off track graphics (buildings trees and especially the crowds) are pitiful. The replay mode sucks *** major as well. The cars just dont look like they are realistically interacting with their environment). GT4 kills this game in replay mode.
However its great fun and as an overall package right up there with GT4. |

I just bought it... personally its a awesome game! Realistic? definatly not, but still its alot of fun. Popping the tyres is addictive but... and the penalty system is just stupid!!!

popping the tyres is great fun, then keep reving it it will eventually blow up. the key to popping the tyres is once the tyres turn red in your display, back off the accel, for like a split second then jam it back on. it will pop everytime :dj:

how can u complain about the damage in this game at least it has it(GT4)
and unlike others when set on hard at least the cpu players think 4 themselves, crash and actually drive all over the road(GT4 they drive in a line) Stuff the story mode, get into setting fast lap times with way more starters on the grid than V8s2 LOVE IT and the penalty system is stupid but real |

V8's 3 is fantastic while carear mode so far has been far too easy it is very hard in Simulator mode with the opposition on Hard, it's fantastic to be pushing 10/10 for a full race and still not be fast enough, they are agressive, bump you back as hard as you bump them and they dive for moves on you much more challenging than V8's 2
i'd give it a 8/10 |
