Ok, well i live in a tiny country town that has 1 bus into the nearest bigger town 26kms away. This bus leaves @ 11am and returns @ 4.30pm. IF i did work for a living (fulltime mum) im SURE i would be flatout gettin a job that worked around the bus timetable.
Regardless of all that, am i the ONLY 1 that is PROUD to admit be a poser and would prefer to drive EVERYWHERE no matter what cost JUST so i can show off me car?!?!?! : :eclipsee_ |

Well its really pretty obvious in situations like yours XR8 queen that public transport really isnt an option.
Just like I'd also hazard a guess that you dont have traffic congestion issues like major capital cities either......... |

Well YEAH, thats a valid point. However, i lived in the heart of Sydney for 19 years up until 4 years ago and i RARELY used public transport then. Personally, i would prefer to take my own vehicle as opposed to using a public system which IMHO was very over-rated. When we had the Sydney Olympics, it was a nightmare so i could only imagine what it would be like IF the volume of passengers increased. Not to mention, everywhere i go, i have 2 babies in tow. I would DREAD having to try to fit at least 1 pram on a bus/train and try to hold the babies as well ESPECIALLY as a lotta people dont seem to give up their seats these days. When in Sydney (which i absolutely LURVE and MISS), i saw a lotta horror stories and feel that i would be better off in my own car minding my own business, traffic jams or not!! _2:
