Found this on car advice this morning. just bolts on and converts H shifter to sequential.

There are a couple of folks mounting sequential shifters on their transmissions over in The Workshop. Kind of pricey
We had a pure drag race G-Force "clutchless" transmission which used a Long vertical shifter. You would launch the car by putting the engine on the low side chip and dropping the clutch. Then you would not touch the clutch again as you rowed through the gears. It was a low inertia transmission and mixed with that shifter every other race transmission combination we tried was only within 5 hundredths of that transmission/shifter/clutch combination. Back then the entire transmission and shifter were just a little over 5K usd. 3K for a shifter alone, wow. If you class race, I wonder if it will get through the gears quicker than a modern day Ronnie Sox? |
