It looks like a XR6T snorkal. ie The same as Tickford but without wings. He has just added the Ford badge.

Did you notice what appeared to be a 'bump' on the left of the intake?

Is this the light, or is that bump there to increase turbulence or something?

Looks exactly like the Tickford one, just got a Ford badge stuck on it.

Just like Chief said...

If your on about that bump in the tube part , i'de say thats just a resessed area to allow clearance for some other hoses under the hood.

If your on about what looks like something in the mouth opening of the snorkle , thats the production date when it was made (month/date/year) pressed into the plastic , they couldn't of put that in a worse spot imo , makes parts look cheap when its visable like that .

The snorkel is identical to the original Tickford item minus the "wings", the indent you see GK is there so the snorkel cleared the engine components. I cant recall what exactly but that is why it is there.

The only reason that indent is/was there on the Tickford snorkels was to clear the radiator hose bracket on the AU V8's. No such clearence issues for a AU 6cyl. So I can't see why the F6 snorkel (or any of the BA/BF range of Falcons) would need to have that indent there on the snorkel?? The BA/BF V8 or I6 has nothing there that needs the indent to be there for clearence. :

Yes 012 my point exactly it was originally made for the T series and you know there isnt any I6 T series. All ford did to make the "Typhoon" snorkel was remove the Tickford wings from the mould thus the indent still exists. Ford did not make an entirely new snorkel just because the BA/BF engines do not conflict with the shape of the snorkel.
My apologies if my earlier post did not make sense and I hope I have now made it clearer for you.
