My list shows 141 Mark 1 FG GTE’s but I’m not sure if they call the 5.4 the Mark 1 or the first of the SC 335’s the Mark 1.
Check with Ford as I’m sure you have a very rare beast! Any pic’s?

Hey - sorry to hijack this post...couldn't figure out how to create one of my own :(
I have a 2009 G6ET, have just moved to NZ and took it with me. NZ just introduced a tax on non-ev cars being imported to NZ...$2850...which I can avoid if the car can be classified as a 'Special Interest Vehicle'. One of the criteria is to have a unit production of less than 20,000 p.a. Ive contacted ford AU and it looks like they are upgrading their computer systems, and so wont be able to provide that data until July...which is too late for my needs. Given the above, was wondering whether anyone has annual production figures for the G6ET around 2008/9/10? Thanks Simon |

I would be interested to know how you get on with NZ customs as I am considering something similar. Specifically do they accept the production numbers for individual series as qualifying for the <20,000 rule. Thanks. |

Thanks GT1533 - very much appreciated
FYI - there are 4 criteria, 3 of which must be met, for the car to be classed as a SIV: 1. coupe or convertible? 2. high performance? 3. >20,000 units manufactured p.a? 4. collectors car (as written about in an article from one of about 10 magazines) I also noticed that NZ have already accepted 2 Falcons on their SIV list (2018/2019) - FPV GT, and Cobra FPV. I have sent those numbers through - will let you know how I get on! Simon |
