Can someone help me here. I've been trying to get in direct contact with Ebay but just keep getting the run around with automated voice assist. Fed-up with it
See below. I purchased a set of taillights through eBay after my offer was accepted and paid for which included the eBay voucher discount but soon after I was contacted by the seller to inform me that they had sold the last one just before I had made payment and wouldn't have anymore in till next shipment which would be in a couple of months & that he would let me know when they're in & he agreed to sell them to me at the present agreed discount price. My problem with that is the eBay voucher discount they offered me and I used would be past it's validation time limit by then therefore I would loose that discount, right? How can I redeem that voucher discount at a later date. Also why can't I talk directly to an eBay rep 1 on 1 It's just so hard this way very time consuming. Cheers. Grahame. |

Use the chat function on eBay. You will eventually get to a real person, and then your conversation is fully logged.

Even if delivered late the voucher will still be valid ie it has been used. but check with eBay on this. But beware of delays beyond 30 days from the scheduled delivery date - this will put you outside an eBay refund window. Reference: https://www.ebay.com.au/help/buying/...rrived?id=4042 Such delays can be deliberate by "some" vendors. eBay will review the communication between you and the seller if and when you raise a case for a refund so be careful what you write. If you agree to a delay in eBay messaging the 30 days clock from the original delivery date is still running it is not reset. ie raise a case for a refund before the 30 days is up even if you get noticed of shipment close to the 30 days . . you can see why I think.
