Default Having watched madmax recently I looked up locations

Been ages and ages since I watched this, and the locations caught my attention so I googled and this popped up... seems upto date to

I search this forum for "mad max" but did not find any links to any websites with locations... hope its not a dupe.

Watch the doco "Welcome to where ever you are" they go in search of locations and people in the movie while on their way to bathurst in a badly constructed Mad max car .

The only location I know of is in Mad Max 1, the Bike under the Truck crash scene. Calder raceway, a mate of mine had his truck used for it.

sorry I could find this out, but while I'm here, what year was madmax released. I know it was early 80's??

The spot where Max makes the guy hacksaw his arm off, or get blown up (Sorry i haven't wantched this in a while) is 1 min away from where I am.
Down the bottom of the hill, as you leave Sunbury to head to Wildwood.
