When you complain again, tell them that you've had advice from a person who works at a Ford dealer (this is true!) and tell them that you could make a complaint through Consumer Affairs and the Small Claims Office (I think) for some compensation if they don't get things moving.

Definately call their Customer Service Division in Campbelfield. Ask them to call the dealer for you.

Ford Customer Assistance Centre 1800333306 (Hope that number is still valid)

That should get them moving!

Sound like a good idea Papa Smurf?

They've got a phone call comin tomoro and it will be blunt and to the point. Was told today they don't reckon it'll get touched till thursday. Now this has really enfuriated me Because i was bein told its a 2 hour job to put the motor in, and that as soon as it turned up it took priority. The only priority its recieved is the option of being a car park ornament and to gather rust.

I haven't had a major service yet on my T3 . Most items on the car I will replace myself because i simply do not trust ford dealers, and their prices are just rediculous. I change the oil and filter every 10000k's but for a major service I take most of my vehicles to Ultra Tune. They do a great job and are very well priced. Ford dealerships are a rip off...they will take advantage of you. I also own a Ba XT falcon and replaced the pads and rotors myself for around $250.00 after the original set were all warped and very dangerous and the car is still under warranty. It was easier, quicker and no waiting around nor an inconvenience and no hidden suprises or extra charges. Steer well clear of them.

Cheers

Ok guys, the word is in. The car dealer has paid in full, actually he paid a little extra to cover my postage!

It seems that many people will only do the right thing if they are pushed to do so. I can only say thank God for Consumer Affairs!

: NEWSFLASH! :
Work has now been completed on my car and now have it back:eclipsee_ . Have no problems/grudges with the dealer. And am very happy with the work and effort they went to to get it back on the road. Still recommend them and will still be using them to service it. So yeh rant over :
