so here is my problem, my falcon was recently defected, and i have been freting about whether it will pass,
however my father thinks it wont, he also thinks that i cant afford to run it, here is his solution: buy me an 87 telstar sedan, auto. pwr steer, on the condition that i sign my falcon over to him so he can sell it what to do though should i accept his offer |

DUDE Whateva U do, dont give up the one thing that U will regret giving up. Keep the beast and do it up when U can afford to do it. The telstar can serve as a daily driver and the beast as a weekend warrior when U want it to.
IMHO of course.

Your old man is probably a lot wiser than you think. Just do what he says.
Cheers,

My 1st and current car is in sig below. Dads told me several times if he didn't think I could drive it, or afford it, there's no way I would've been allowed to buy it. 3 yrs later I still have it EDIT: It also helps that the full comp is in his name, with me as a listed driver. $650pa compared to something ridiculous. Go with what your old man says. Or get a better paying job. |

Sadly but often, our dreams fall victim to the harsh realities of cash flow.
I suspect this is another case of just that! GK

You need to work out what you want verses what you can afford
and make your decision from there, only you can do this or else it will always be somebody elses fault. I got rid of my wifes ltd and replaced it with an AU, know every time my wife sees a clean FC LTD she is regreting it.

Surely there is a FFA member in Canberra that can have a look over the car and see whether it will pass.
