I think either of the above is good. FF.au does have a nice ring to it though.

AFF is definately the lazier of the two to remember and type.
I'm trying to think what would look better on a sticker on a car ??? I think AFF wins.

FF.au would look ok on stickers
AFF would probably look better once it develops its own graphic BUT - we do need to take in to account the other australian ford forum - fordaustraliaforums.com I guess there can be AFF FAF FF A lot of FF members have gone over to FAF so we'll be everywhere for a while. FFAU, simply coz you could make a cooler word, like FFAUST (faust) from it, whereas AFF could be turned into NAFF, FAFF, CHAFF, LAFF, GAFF, QUAFF...

FFAU - As said before it rolls off the tounge, plus its only a small evolution of *cough* FF.

AFF for me
Yes there are other forums and I am a FAF member also Whenever there is an event for south australian members of an online ford forum, I refer to them like this SAFM (south aussie ford mods) SAFF (here) FAFSAD(fordausforum south aussie division)

I think AFF is more amenable, FFAU is a bit more awkward.. AFF is more AFFable, AFFordable, AFFective, AFFirmative, more likely to suffer an AFFliction, or an AFFixation or AFFliction, sometimes, suffer more AFFluence... I don't think I can say the same for FFAU...
